The C.G. Jung Foundation presents
The Money Complex —
Healing Your Own and Others’

a daylong workshop led by
Amy Sprague Champeau, LMFT
Saturday, March 12, 2011
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
According to James Hillman (1982), “Since money is an archetypal psychic reality, it will always be inherently problematic … therefore, money problems are inevitable, necessary, irreducible, always present, and potentially if not actually overwhelming. Money is devilishly divine.”
We need only look around ourselves. Everywhere there are indications of the impact of our collective unconscious beliefs and behaviors around money. Some experts say that money is the greatest taboo. Many people would rather talk about their sex lives than their money lives. Yet, money touches every aspect of our lives. It is time to bring “money” out of the shadows and become more conscious of our own dysfunctional beliefs and behaviors around money.
This will be a practical workshop. It will not tell you how to invest your money. It will help you begin a journey to understanding your money complex and the money scripts from the past that drive you. We will pay special attention to bridging the theoretical material around the money complex to current work in the new field of financial therapy with the goal of applying these ideas to personal and clinical situations. The class is experiential.
